Detailed Information
As the name suggests, Dark Roast is roasted at a medium-dark level. It offers a rich and intense taste by combining sweet and woody notes with touches of chocolate, caramel, and spice.
Because the coffees in the blend have a higher caffeine level, it can support a strong coffee experience throughout the day. It is a great option for those who enjoy stronger coffee. It can be brewed perfectly with Chemex, French Press, paper filter machines, Moka Pot, and V60. Compatible with both automatic and manual filter coffee machines, it is available as whole beans or ground coffee.
Recommended Use
There are many ways to brew filter coffee, and the grind size should change depending on the method you choose. Because grinders have different settings, it is not easy to give one exact grind number.
- French Press: Coarse grind, like large sea salt
- V60 (Pour Over), Chemex, Paper Filter: Medium-coarse, like sand
- AeroPress, Moka Pot: Medium-fine, like granulated sugar
If you prefer ground coffee, De la Pau filter coffees are ground at a standard filter grind level, compatible with filter machines as well as V60 and Chemex. If you need a special grind for French Press, Moka Pot, or Syphon, you can message us via the “Ask the Seller” button.
We grind and pack our coffees as close to shipping as possible to deliver the freshest coffee.
Important Note: For better aroma and a healthier brew, don’t forget to wet your paper filter before brewing so no dry area remains. Also, make sure your brewing equipment or machine is clean.
Not Recommended For
This coffee is not suitable for those who do not have a filter coffee machine or a filter brewing tool such as V60, Chemex, or French Press. It is suitable for those who drink filter coffee black or with milk.
If you use a fully automatic espresso machine for drinks like Latte or Cappuccino, please consider Espresso Kreo, Espresso Rena, or Espresso Giza instead.
