Colombia Supremo
Origin & Tasting Notes
Coming from Colombia’s famous coffee heritage, Colombia Supremo is produced from high-quality Arabica beans. “Supremo” refers to the larger screen size, which often helps the aromas stand out clearly.
In the first sip, you feel a clear chocolate taste, followed by a light hazelnut note that creates a rich and satisfying finish. With its medium strength, Colombia Supremo is a great choice for coffee lovers who want both flavor and a coffee that supports creativity and focus.
Detailed Information
The smooth texture of carefully selected beans and the harmony of chocolate and hazelnut notes make Colombia Supremo ideal for both hot and cold coffee recipes. It can be prepared in different grind options to match your brewing equipment and works very well with methods such as Chemex, French Press, paper filter machines, Moka Pot, and V60.
It also stands out with its compatibility for automatic machines. You can confidently choose it as whole beans or ground coffee for your home machines—whether espresso or filter. It is one of the most preferred options among coffee lovers and a strong alternative for those searching for quality and taste.
Recommended Use
There are many ways to brew filter coffee, and the grind size should change depending on the method you choose. Because grinders have different settings, it is not easy to give one exact grind number.
- French Press: Coarse grind, like large sea salt
- V60 (Pour Over), Chemex, Paper Filter: Medium-coarse, like sand
- AeroPress, Moka Pot: Medium-fine, like granulated sugar
If you prefer ground coffee, De la Pau filter coffees are ground at a standard filter grind level, compatible with filter machines as well as V60 and Chemex. If you need a special grind for French Press, Moka Pot, or Syphon, you can message us via the “Ask the Seller” button.
We grind and pack our coffees as close to shipping as possible to deliver the freshest coffee.
Important Note: For better aroma and a healthier brew, don’t forget to wet your paper filter before brewing so no dry area remains. Also, make sure your brewing equipment or machine is clean.
Not Recommended For
This coffee is not suitable for those who do not have a filter coffee machine or a filter brewing tool such as V60, Chemex, or French Press. It is suitable for those who drink filter coffee black or with milk.
If you use a fully automatic espresso machine for drinks like Latte or Cappuccino, please consider Espresso Kreo, Espresso Rena, or Espresso Giza instead.
